Laughing Apple Farm is initiating a new farm stand membership program. It is a new way for the community to interact with a farmer, show their support, and also have input into what food is grown. Come join us!

How does our farm membership program work?

It's very simple! Each week we email you a list of the produce available at our farm stand. Once you get our email you can come to our farm stand to pick out whatever you want. You get first priority access to our produce, before the farmer's market. We typically grow about 30 different crops throughout the year to provide a variety of food for eating seasonally. Our farm stand membership program is available all year round.

Sign Up

When you sign up, we ask for an initial payment of $200. That entitles you to choose whatever produce you want from our farm stand up to that amount, as long as you leave us a note about what you have taken. We will keep an accounting of what you have taken from the stand. When you run out of credit you may top up your account, but there is no further obligation. We accept payment by cash, cheque, e-transfer or credit card.

What items are available when:

Salad mix, arugula, onions, garlic, herbs, potatoes, eggs and apple juice are generally available throughout the whole season.

Spring
strawberries, raspberries, arugula, broccoli florets, chard, kale, leeks, vegetable starts, carrots, lettuce heads, Asian greens, spinach, peas, both shelling and snap
Summer
strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cherries (1-3 weeks only), plums, broccoli heads, peas, lettuce heads, garlic, cucumbers, carrots, summer squash, eggplant, cherry tomatoes, sweet onions (Walla Walla and other assorted), honey, broccoli florets, beans, tomatoes, peppers, corn, melons
Autumn
pears, strawberries, blueberries kiwis, broccoli, brussels sprouts, chard, cabbage, kale, garlic, storage onions, shallots, winter squash, pumpkins, carrots, leeks, frozen berries

NOTE: Because of bad weather or crop failure some things may not be available, but we do grow enough of a variety of produce that we will be able to make substitutes.
